Final touch up at Fuchun

Millie and i did the final touch ups. We wrote our names according to our heights on the wall where we had placed the ruler for students to measure their heights.. Sadly i was the shortest of them all...

My Painting (A Scenery of Lasalle SIA)

This is a painting done last first semester of Foundation. Its done on A2 canvas using Acryllic paint. We were asked to choose from different angles of our school, Lasalle SIA. I chose this particular secenery because i had always like to detailed painting. This allows me to capture everything single activity which is going on in the scenery. It tooks me atleast 3 weeks to completely finish painting this canvas. Although it took alot of time and hard work to complete this painting, i really enjoyed myself as painting is one of my main interest in Arts.

My Sculpture

This is a 3D artwork done by clay. This is piggy bank in which we are allowed to open the top of the figure's head. It took me about 3 hours to mould it out and design it.

My Painting (BLOSSOM TREE)

This is a painting of a blosom tree. It is made up of white, yellow, orange and red flowers. Firstly i had to use thick black paint to create the tree and the branches. To create the flowers i used the tip at the end of the brush, dipped it into acrylic paint and dapped all over the tree.

My Painting (SCENERY OF HILLS)

This is a painting of a scenery of hills. The reason why this picture was painted was to improve my brush strokes to differenciate thick and thin lines. Another reason was to use my little learning of Chinese Calligraphy into the painting when drawing the mountains far away from the actual scenery. One particular issue that i like about this painting is that i only used 2 colours, which are black and white to complete this picture.

My Painting (HEAD OF LION DANCE)

This is a paintinng of the traditional lion dance costume. This is drawn to represent the Chinese culture. It took me less then 2 hours to complete drawing and painting this work.
